The government is talking about introducing benefits for train tickets for families with children. The benefits will apply to long-distance trains, as reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
It is known that the corresponding resolution has already been signed by Mikhail Mishustin. The new measure to support domestic tourism belongs to the state program "Development of the transport system".
At the same time, the difference between the price of a standard ticket and a discounted ticket is compensated by the state. However, there were some nuances, namely, that the discount applies only to tickets in the compartment: you will have to go to the reserved seat for the full cost.
Families with one or more children under the age of 18 can get a discount when buying tickets to compartment cars for long-distance trains.
The new price will be set according to a special formula. To calculate, you need the difference between the cost of the ticket for the selected route in the compartment and 50% of its cost in the reserved seat.
There are no restrictions on the direction and form of travel. If you are going on an independent vacation or as part of a tour program, you will receive a discount in any case.
The state has already allocated more than 1.3 billion rubles for these benefits.
