Russia resumes flights with Turkey

Those who planned to rest in Turkey this year, missed relatives in Antalya or cannot return home, can rejoice: Russia is resuming air service with Turkey.

Russia will resume full-fledged flights with Turkey from June 22. This decision was made as a result of a meeting of the federal headquarters for the fight against coronavirus. The Russian inspection team carried out the necessary checks, the result of which was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.

The delegation arrived in Turkey on June 17 and conducted a full-scale assessment of the safety of tourist facilities. Experts concluded that compliance with the mask regime is carefully monitored, protective equipment is easy to buy anywhere, and in the tourism sector, vaccination of hotel employees is 60-90%.

By the way, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia found out that more than a million Russians are waiting for the opening of Turkish resorts. At the same time, the airlines are fully ready to launch the corresponding flights.

Entry rules

To get to Turkey, a tourist must present a certificate of vaccination or a certificate of passing an express antibody test if the disease has been transferred within the last 6 months. For those who do not have any of these documents, there is only one option — a PCR test.

For vacationers from a number of countries, the requirements for compliance with a 2-week quarantine remain. These countries include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka.

Alternative resorts

If you do not like Turkey and you did not plan to visit Turkish resorts, you can pay attention to 8 more countries. Air traffic with them will resume from June 28. These countries are the USA, Belgium, Bulgaria, Jordan, Ireland, Italy, Cyprus and North Macedonia.

The number of flights to Armenia, Austria and Azerbaijan, as well as to Qatar, Finland, Croatia and Switzerland will increase.

But tour operators do not advise to go on vacation to the Krasnodar Territory or to the Crimea. Representatives of the tourism sector and vacationers complain about the record number of tourists at popular resorts: even 4* and 5* hotels in Sochi are packed for the whole of June.

In Novaya Istra, you can relax at any time of the year, without having to stand in long queues and fight for a place in the sun. Book a room soon and come to recuperate!
