Scandinavian walking technique
Doctors recommend practicing for half an hour, 5 days a week. You should start with 10 minutes, gradually increasing the time. Technic:
- It is necessary to walk as usual. Over time, adding rhythm.
- At first, you can just carry the sticks in your hands. Over time, raise them higher, to a vertical position and hitting the ground.
- It is necessary to keep the sticks close enough to the body. The ideal rhythm will be like that of skiers — right hand forward, left foot back.
- You should breathe correctly — inhale 2 steps with your nose, exhale the next 3 steps with your mouth.
- Elbows must be kept in tension.
- The foot stands straight, does not bend to the sides.
- Adjust the load by the intensity of the push and the length of the step.
